The Red Sox hope that Chris Sale, Rick Porcello and David Price will know how to lead them

FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Boston Red Sox hope that Chris Sale's addition to their rotation that already counts on Rick Porcello and David Price will lead the team to its first World Series in four years.

"The Red Sox are now the Golden State Warriors of baseball," said New York Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman during the winter.

Porcello won the Cy Young in the American last year, while Price won the honor in 2012.

The Tigers of which Price speak won the title of the Central of the American in 2014, when he formed a formidable trio of runners with Justin Verlander and Max Scherzer. But they were swept by the Baltimore Orioles in division series.
Sale, a 27-year-old southpaw, has compiled a 70-47 record in his last five campaigns with the Chicago White Sox, including a 17-10 record last season. It was acquired in December in return for hope at the forefront Yoan Moncada and three players having spent the last campaign at level A: right-handers Michael Kopech and Victor Diaz, as well as outfielder Luis Alexander Basabe.
